The name and shame goes to the SVP of the group for letting it happen. It is easy to blame the number 2 of a group, but the Executive Leader of the group is the real reason these types of political situations happen in a company.
Name and shame the VP.
As they say, keeps your friends close, and enemies closer.. this seems to be what drove the impact that happened. Within services, there are a few folks primarily based in India that are driving the toxic behavior. Everyone in the team knows who they are and how difficult it is to interact with these "know it all" folks, but leadership has a blind eye towards the problem. I haven't been affected yet, but I know I'm on the list as well. Its just a matter of time that all the non facing customer roles will get transitioned to India under this VP who is trying to build his empire.
Stay strong and all the best, I really hope that you get to a place where your strengths are valued and respected.
You would get an extra month for 10 yrs of service but unconfirmed if that is still in place with the new package.
I think there's mega culling coming just like Intel
So the severance package duration doesn’t take into account the number of years of service?
Package was bad. 3 months Director US.
I'm sorry to hear that. Keep your head up and get a better job! What package did you get? UK also just approved the merger, so it is happening.
Do we know how many getting impacted ?
Really?!?! Services has been the shining star of revenue updates. This is shocking. So sorry this happened. Evidently we are under a quiet trimming period....
