Thread regarding Texas Children's Hospital layoffs

I’m a parent of a chronically ill child, who has also been a long-term patient of TCH. First of all, let me thank all of you, doctors and staff, for your expertise, empathy and support. We received nothing but care, warmth and dedication from you, and thanks to you my child is on the trajectory to fully recover. I’m extremely sorry for what is happening to you, and I’m also extremely worried about the quality of care we can expect in future with so many of you who proved to be exceptional health providers now gone. I wish us all luck, and I wish all of you who were laid off to land on your feet as soon as possible. Any hospital would be lucky to have you.
