I sure as he-l hope they will finally cull bloated mid mgmt and top. OK, fine, some of us must go as well. But if layoffs are again wholesale by the numbers and not based on the actual strategy, the effect will be zero if not negative. Unfortunately, laziness, simple-minded cost-cutting, and the magic that keeps the stock up and not crashing (tho it’s hit or miss) rule the game.
