Not to be lost in all the layoffs, there were comments in certain posts a week or two ago about updates to the hybrid policy coming this month. Something about # of hours in office being tracked to prevent coffee badge swiping. Any news on this or other updates to the remote/hybrid policies?

I find the ham handed policies around hybrid butt-in-seats to be embarrassing. Treat employees like children, assume managers can't manage. I'm so glad I don't have to deal with that cr-p.
We've been told on decent authority the new hybrid policy will be 30 days.
Who the he-l knows though, really. Someone on our team got a green flag for coming in 28 days.
Get people to leave voluntarily. Get butts in seats to keep tax breaks. Nothing more. Their blanket PR statement about "collaboration in the age of AI" is nothing but bollocks.
A couple of the people on my team that were cut had gone hybrid in hopes of staving this off. The majority of the fully-remote people survived. It seems this was more about salary than anything else.
It’s pretty clear now that the RTO policy was just a way to get people to leave without paying severance
I was told by a manager they have never beenpresented to what would happen if you do not have your 39 days in the office. No policy been made or delivered to them on what to do if someone doesn't have 39 days.... I honestly feel it is all smoke and BS
manager just basically said he said everyone had reasons to be below 39 hours so nothing happens. I doubt there will be any changes.

We cant even get our own internal systems to work right.
It would be months before they had a list with them details and even then its doubtful.
