Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

Time to wake up Board Of Directors from your SM Slumber

SM and his clown show LT has lost the locker room and cannot regain it what ever he does or says. No one internally believes him or any of his LT. Your BOD experiment to hire a non-experienced CEO with little more than to say the word "cloud" and with a social agenda should be over. Lets focus on the business first. We have a great opportunity in a high growth market, let us focus 100% on that.

People are assets, not cost liabilities.

TDC is in a death spiral. I left years ago but everyone saw this coming. To keep margins up you have to continually trim headcount. Trimming headcount leads to fewer sales and less innovation, that leads to less revenue that leads to more RIFs.

this board is culpable for not serving their fiduciary responsibilities. they comittet to hire an experienced ceo, but didnt. now a few years on, the sartest decision this boar dcan make it to repurchase shares instead of investing in growing the business. shame!

It’s time for SM, CB, HA and JW to step down after 4 years of failure.

Take your money and run. Have some Pride instead of destroying a great company and employees lives.

The BOD has a fiduciary responsibility to admit their failure and find an appropriate ELT that can turn this around before it’s too late.

Great opportunity? Maybe 10 years ago. When considering the current competitive landscape, why would a prospective customer select Teradata? Once the 10% are jettisoned then what? At this point, Teradata can only attempt to slow the customer exodus. Falling short of that goal SM will look to jettison more.
