In the all hands today it was said that layoffs are to be expected. Anyone know of a date? Anyone with insight?

Yes, layoffs are coming starting Monday. I’ve heard they will be big. 5,000 or more. I have no details on who or area. My guess is with that amount of people, this will be across every area, department, and level. Good luck to everyone.
Did the VP call happen as mentioned below? Was anyone let go this week? Curious what areas will be the most impacted with the next round of layoffs? Seems the merchant area has the greatest potential for impact.
I miss the old days when they would just take away coffee and vending machines. Monday is going to usher in an era of epic meme layoffs
All hands scheduled for Monday
Insight from the call?
Last week of August is going to be a banger.
Layoffs starting tomorrow 8/23 going into next week.. Anyone else confirm
Tomorrow VP+ level followed by all levels next week. there is a meeting tomorrow mornign at 8 for vp+ levels..
Why would we be laying off sales? Heavy commission employees - we can't save much money laying off sales people and it hurts our ability to sell...unless what we're selling isn't selling?
Potentially as early as 8/14. I have heard from many people from Sales and other departments from various sites. Probably expect layoffs happening every month for the rest of the year as everything shakes out.
From where did you hear it will happen next week?
Next week? For what division??
I heard next week.
No date for terminations but we expect the official announcement on who/where/how many will be made on Sept 5th during Ryan Loy's meeting that he is hosting along with HR. Keep in mind that Cameron's statements allude to removing redundant or duplicate roles and processes first and foremost.
