Human Experimentation

This layoff has nothing to do with what they say the reasons are.

It is an experiment to gather data on employee behavior, after-effects and continued monitoring of those laid-off, etc for the purpose of training some AI model.

No, it’s two part: 1.). The economy. 2.) AI is a ‘leading loss campaign’. It may pay off. But in the interim it costs greatly - especially as Dell and competitors allocate resources and undercut each other in a race to be first. This happened in the shift to ‘cloud’ too.
