make decisions impacting thousands of livelihoods and a huge, once very relevant corporation, all you get is a mess. I’m convinced none of the layoffs and cuts are being made with the future in mind, just with immediate issues on the market. It’s all performative, yet so deeply damaging and troublesome.

if you change thousands of livelihoods to millions you get politicians instead of clueless dell managers. I volunteered 18 months ago for layoff at dell. I agree with your comment.
