Assembly there is no motivation and a lot of favoritism and there’s no work they have everyone on first and have only one guy on second plus they are paying there’s employees that are on first shift differential big rip off to the company at Emmott Rd.
Aberdeen crashed and burned due to rank stupidity
If you don’t know what your doing your business will crash n burn buddy. Looks like that’s happening but you don’t know it yet.
Assembly too I bet
Someone has a serious bone to pick with Emmott Road.
I've heard morale is bad and their numbers aren't great but is it really that bad there?
Anyone inside Emmott Road know what's going on?
Keep sinking lower it’s entertaining to watch.
When it comes to Baker and particularly OFSE, the real issue is that Maria and the rest of her executive leadership team have so totally mismanaged that business group that they are now scrambling to save every dollar that they can. The only way they know how to do that is to cut their highest-paid employees, who, in most cases, are also their top performers. So yes, they're going to lose a lot of their top talent to save a buck. What they're not going to do is get rid of any of Marias' favorites, those who will agree with everything she says. Until the Baker Hughes CEO gets rid of Maria and replaces her with a competent leader OFSE will continue to decline.
Goodbye Western Hemisphere manufacturing plants.
The work is going to Saudi and Singapore, and that's just a stop gap until MCB hands the keys over to TAQA.
It seems there’s increasing concern about the talent exodus at BH. Many skilled professionals are either leaving voluntarily or being let go, while those perceived as less capable are staying on. The justification often given is related to EBITDA, yet despite the elimination of 7,500 positions, there seems to be no improvement in that metric. This has led to speculation about a potential major payout or even a sale of the company.
The leadership, often criticized as being more about appearances than substance, seems disconnected from the real challenges on the ground. Contracts are being lost, and there’s a growing sense that the company is losing its edge in the field. The decision-makers, particularly in key positions, are under scrutiny, with many questioning their long-term strategy. The current state of affairs has led to a decline in the company’s culture, and there’s concern that this will have lasting negative effects.
The more you cut the more it goes up
cut cut cut, so my stock goes up up up
Who's the puppy?
The only people that will be spared from Emmett Road closure will be the puppy!
G and HE should layoff the entire 0003 plant. CAPAs and QNs don’t matter. They been around for 45 years and CaNT get coating right. Wow! Shut it down! But An and G (both of them who I thought were cool) would be safe since they’re on the A-team. A an just writes procedures all day and gets flossing CAPAs
HE had a long history of taking care of his 'boys' in HSE.
I see he's brought that to the quality side too.
You can see that at Emmott. HE ;) wants more analysis on a sinking ship, and the morale at Emmott is awful. Everyone knows the end is near. G could care less about quality and only get stuff out the door
They were so giddy with Q2 results we can only expect more to be extracted. The line must go up!
Maybe after the strong Q2 they will reduce the reductions. So 20% less reductions. Still though need to reduce personnel costs to hit the EBIDTAAAAA target with the few peones that will be left. They will be so motivated when BH will hit its targets thanks to them covering the work that was done previously by 2-3 individuals for the same or less money. Keep going Maria & Co, only your indiscriminate cuts can save this Company's financials and bridge the gap with... Weatherford!!
Layoffs
Reduction in what ? reducing??
