Thread regarding CVS layoffs

How ‘bout doing the sound business?

Instead of cuts, cuts, cuts. Cuts and closures without any strategy, just cuts by numbers. Anyone knowing basic math can do that. Why are leadership and mgmt getting completely out of proportion pay for something a 6th grader can do? It’s such a nasty scheme between corporate leadership, shareholders and brokers. While we get to be jobless.

There are no factors that went into last years reductions. It was random, wi--y nilly at best. The leadership is so bad they can't even get rid of the right employees.

We still lose if they fire all the top level execs because they’ll probably get more for leaving than if they stay and drive us into the ground.

There are several variables that factor into decisions as to closings, severance packages and layoffs. It is not basic math.

I think your math is off. If they layoff 5,000 people they would save over 1/2 a billion a year.

No dig at your point about poor leadership. Just need to be more realistic about numbers.

I think you answered your own question... our loser leaders don't understand basic math... if they did, maybe our business would actually be run well and be profitable. But alas, not possible when practically everyone at SVP level and above is as incompetent as they are delusional. Honestly ashamed to be associated with this place at this point...
