I've been doing the work of three people since the last round of layoffs. There is no way my team could pick up my work if I was shown the door, and they'd need at least two people to replace me. The key words being "at least." I'm almost hoping it happens, just to see their reaction when things start to fall apart.

Oh you must be the new Digital Human they’ve been talking about! Finally!
Thanks for the laugh, OP
Getting laid off from Dell was the best thing that happened to me. I had a job within 2 weeks and had a 6 month severance (full pay). I get where you are coming from being underpaid and under appreciated.
If you don't get the package you may still want to consider looking around if you're this miserable. Just a thought.
They dont care
Somebody had better bring this to the attention of management quickly. Dell will fall apart if they lose this person.
If things start to fall apart once your gone, you won't be able to 'see their reaction".
You are working 120+ hours a week? Please tell us more ...
Damn bro you literally have Dell shaking in their boots
Lol, this is such a nieve post
They don't care.
I had a guy who thought like this on my team last year and was laid off. Literally none of his responsibilities were passed on and no one batted an eye. His role was entirely useless as he was essentially a middle man between two groups of people who did the work. We’re all replaceable.
have you already received the 1:1 invite?
You think Dell cares about this? No. A person can only do so much. The work will not be done and whatever you produced or were a part of will be severely degraded.
You are not as important as you think you are. If you were, you wouldn’t be peacocking on a layoff site. Get over yourself.
without wanting to sound harsh, all of us on here are tiny blips.. we're not even rounding errors when it comes to the overall company. mistakes will be made in who is laid off, you may well be delivering way beyond what you get paid, but you're so insignificant that nobody who makes these decisions will notice anyway.
people need to realise that most of us are 0.001% of the company. broadly - if youre a low grade you're less than that, if you're a higher grade you're more than that. if youre significantly more than that, you already know the wfr plans and wouldn't be on here asking questions.
put yourself in as good a position as possible, whether you stay or go (cvs, networking, delivering). get rid of the idea that anything significant will fall apart without you.
