Meeting Invite Subject text

In all the comments about upcoming Monday meetings, I'm seeing that the subject line is one of two things: "1x1" or "Business Update". (for the record, mine is "1x1")

I wonder if the specific text of the subject line is an indicator of the exact nature of the call.

Can anyone who has already had their meeting share their invite subject line and the actual result of their call?

1x1… HR didn’t even join, managers camera wasn’t even on… went on video so they could do it to my face

My friend went into the office to make them meet with him in person because he saw it coming after the email he got yesterday. The upper management wasn't in office so he turned his camera on, which they reluctantly followed suite.

My coworker had their regular 1x1 on the calendar for Friday (last week), and the boss moved it to today. They were worried, and it turned out their fears were valid. :(

My manager scheduled a 1x1. When I joined the Teams meeting, HR immediately joined as well.

re: 1x1 vs 2x1. the manager sends to invites. one is a 1x1/business update with you and her/him. the manager sends a 2nd 1x1 to the hr person with the same dial in info.

If you manager has an open calendar you'll either see 2 meetings at the same time of even the details for both meetings.

I heard I was fine from my boss but I can’t access Salesforce and some work apps. Is this companywide?

Mine says business update and it’s just me and my boss - others in my team have similar calls set up for this morning so my opinion is that it doesn’t matter what the subject line says. If it’s a 1x1, bye bye

1x1 is most likely WFR my guess is business update with multiple attendees is a leadership change.

Anyone have their meeting already?

In my experience it doesn't mean anything one way or another. Just depends on what your manager uses.
