I got 2 months + one extra week for each year of service in severance. Benefits were locked in for the entire duration. They paid out remaining vacation time and sent commission for 2 months afterwards.

Canada is actually really, really good (has to be). Also, it doesn't matter what you are given, you immediately want to go to workers tribunal. I've no folks with about ~10 years get over a year of severance after tribunal.
Please help. Any real information would be useful.
