Qualcomm has an internal plan to evaluate business for inevitable huge loss of top market, potentially 35-45% could be laid off in the next 18 months, so please be prepared. I think the only way out is for QCOM/INTC and many others to split into US business Group (based in US) and International Business Group (based in France) and EVERY single bit international business are France based, France may lacks infrastructure at this moment, but that can be built, all US based tech firm has no reputation due to sanction policy and absolutely cannot prosper for decades to come.

Two, definitely facing a 12% reduction in October. My manager hinted that I should start looking for another job, and he himself has started searching. It seems like our entire group might be eliminated.

I heard China is about to mass produce 7nm chips using ASML machines and force Qualcomm out of China, the chip war started by Trump and continued by Biden will hurt the US in the long term, for many many decades. Also Huawei is rumored to produce ARM based chips and gradually replace X86.
