How is everybody else dealing with this? I don't have an issue with having a heavy workload, but expectations here are ridiculous.

I don't do anything - resting and vesting
If someone is asking you “What is keeping you busy? “ , then remember that person is phony, insecure and going to add you into layoff list.
I don’t notice… I work my 40 hrs a week, stuff that exceeds that capacity doesn’t get done. Rinse and repeat each week.
Workload is lighter than vmw. I feel better now
This whole tech industry is a joke. Bugs and bugs everywhere. I can give list of bugs in Google, YouTube too. And there are few scammers who want their team to be busy so that they can report to their management. This is all dog and pony show.
What are you working on anyway? VCF 9.0? VCF was this giant pile of shiiiiit. Now they added all the other VMware shiiiiit like Aria and Tanzooo to it and mixed it well and serving up to customers in 5.2. I have been hearing about this VCF shiiiit since 2015. What can you do in 2 months? This shiiiiit is going to stink for a looooooooong looooooong time.

Just scaam artists from top to bottom. The top are the bigger scaaam artists and the below are smaller scaaaam artists. Hence the extreme toxicity. Most people know that all this is a biiiig scaaaaam. The monopolies build these huge inefficient scaaaam companies. True capitalism died a long time ago. You have to be careful of talking even a spec of truth because the big scaaaam artists will smoke you. They keep driving people crazy so that they hope to keep the scaaaaam going. So, just act compliant and survive. If you want to do real work then go do your own thing.
There is a great article called "The rise of buuulllshhiiittt jobs". Google it. Mostly busy work that doesn't produce anything. Understand the context and keep your sanity.
