Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Why does CloudIQ su-k so much?

Working with the development team is awful. Full of egotistical developers stuck in their way. Any suggestion on improvements is met with hostility. Does anyone know why this is?

Dell only hires juniors and contractors in India. If you are lucky to have a good junior, they’ll be a senior and leave in no time. The ones that stay forever have more ego than skill, and insist on writing everything from custom code and most of them only know dotnet.

Reminds me of the smart fabric fiasco. Terrible product. Ultimately had to go back out and remove it from customer environments at more than it cost to put it in. Product team was actively trying to get anyone who raised concerns fired. If the dev team thinks their product cannot be improved, then it is obviously the dev team that cannot be improved!

That application reports data center stats. It complicated because they made it complicated. Yes Data Protection management is absolutely horrendous.

We need a refresh of mgmt. that is what needs to happen.

what was your issue? Pretty vague statement here. The application is pretty complicated. Maybe the problem was between the seat and the keyboard.
