Thread regarding Boeing Co. layoffs

Kudos to Ortberg

I wouldn’t touch Boeing with a ten-foot pole. I honestly hope he knows what he’s getting into, and also intends to make an impact for the future. If that’s the case and he manages to pull Boeing out of a shithole it’s drowning in, no amount of compensation would be enough. Previous mgmt compensations should be taken away. Running a company to the ground should no longer be rewarded. And not only in Boeing.

Can Ortberg fire the Boeing employee who manipulates the reaction count on this board?

Ortberg needs to fire everyone of Dave Calhoun’s Yes men and Buddies.

If during his first week on the job, Ortberg does not announce he's firing the entire Boeing C-suite executives, especially the McDonnell Douglas ones, then Ortberg not serious about righting the ship at Boeing.

While Ortberg's at it, he should also eliminate Boeing's HR and Ethics departments.

Just another corrupt nepo greedy low life only in the game for personal gain. But it matters little now who is CEO. Given its low experienced and low knowledge work force, Boeing is a like a high risk startup company competing against the likes of Airbus, COMAC, Embraer and SpaceX. Actually, the situation is even worse... Boeing is also deep in debt and has cancerous, corrupt, inept leadership at all levels.
