What the Intel?

Per the San Francisco Chronicle, 15,000 positions or 15% of its roughly 100,000 employee global workforce will be cut.

The problem is Pat G and the ELT. I took the CPM at the end of 2022 and Intel headcount was reduced by 6k or so. Who in Intel let bu's hire another 7k off the street? Where are the controls? Now the pain is double because of a lack of discipline--Pat G and the ELT.
