Thread regarding Juniper Networks Inc. layoffs

Where is CK’s PIP?

Are you ready to find out if you’ve been selected to stay on the island of misfits?? Juniper is waiting for the final regulatory approvals from the EU, UK, and US DOJ. There’s too much risk to the business (or what’s left of it) to lay off the thousands without all final regulatory approvals. There’s some layoffs this week but the rest will be decided as to whether you receive the “magical” offer letter from HPE. Thousands won’t be receiving an offer letter (sadly).

The leadership team is also putting all that PIP training to use so they can thin the heard. Wait!?!? Why isn’t CK on a PIP!? He hasn’t hit his number is 11 quarters! He’s taken a 5.7B dollar business down to 4.5b. What, instead of a PIP, he gets millions for a buyout. Sounds about right for a once unemployed lackey who became an overnight CRO, although he was the 4th choice after several other declined the job.

This rumor that there's a selection process for the HPe offer letters was started by some old time Juniper people for reasons I can't fathom - why do you continue to spread it?

When I was at Juniper they acquired a small company who had a VP of Sales with an incredible background of success. His problem, he cared more about the people, customers and company and NOT the politics. I remember when he had a great idea to change things in sales and was told by the CRO that was too political to implement. So of course three months later they made his role redundant and let him go. I spoke to him last week to get some career advice and he is now a VP for another company who has already grown over 50% this year. Juniper C-Level leaders are responsible for allowing the company to be driven by politics. I do feel bad for my former colleagues who are still with the company and being forced to worry about the amount calls they make and not helping customers solve problems!

That guy should have been fired a year ago. This is sad.

Ahhh the Juniper way, I really don't miss it at all. A potentially awesome company ruined by bad management and politics.
