Was standing in line at Dairy Queen with my ex. The person ahead of us ordered a banana split and when she received it there was no banana. Obviously the woman complained, “Where is my banana?” The worker told her that the banana costs extra.
The woman then complained asking what’s a banana split without a banana and that the cost of the banana should have been factored in.
Ever since then the phrase “the banana costs extra” has been our inside joke. Now it is your inside joke too.
