Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Great Place To Work

Intel continues to be a sinking ship. Decades of intimidation & bullying involved to get ahead has backfired. It’s a horrible place to work, particularly for contract employees (who make up the majority). The perpetual self-preservation mentality by remaining workers makes it even more intolerable.

Throw that the badge with the values imprinted on it. There is none in the company to call it GPTW.

When individual contracted service provider headcount is combined, it outnumbers the amount of Intel employees. When they tried to improve relations between Intel & contract employees it was a known fact “there are more of you (contractors) than us (intel employees)”. Consequently, contract workers are usually also affected by the cuts (but not counted in the media due to co-employment issues).
