There would not be rampant H1B nepotism if there were stricter laws which had to be followed that limited the number of H1B's who can be hired.
How is Intel any different than some of the other big tech players who leverage H1B's and offshoring? Ex: Cisco, Oracle. How are they any different?
ELT is gonna do what ELT can legally do to keep the ship afloat, even if it's at the cost of US jobs. Do I agree with it? No. Does it happen? Yes. Is Intel the only tech company doing this? No.
The laws permit Intel to hire H1B's and offshore they way they have. They're not breaking any laws, they're playing within the rules of the game.
