I always thought this company was horrible, but at this point it’s like a caricature of the workplace. I just can’t stand coming to work everyday watching everybody terrified of losing a job any moment. It’s all so cruel and dehumanizing. One of the previous OPs was right to call this company predatory.

Had coworkers who were Top performers get laid off last year and let me tell ya……since then I never put my guard down with this cr-p. I just started to work harder but only on the trivial stuff and not on my actual job duties themselves. I rail roaded and lied often about why I was late, needed pto bank donations etc etc just to skim this joke along as long as I could cuz I knew. I knew that this job is a joke and that no matter if your score a 3 or a 5, you still have good % chance of getting canned. So exploit the company for all the money and benefits you can WHILE you can. Cuz we all seen how they’ll exploit us in a heartbeat to save the skin of investors and board members.
Seems like they're doing smaller groups but more often now. Recent layoffs aren't making it to these discussion boards like they did before.
I left and life has never been better. Optum was a toxic place to work. My leadership my my worst leadership ever.. Glad to be gone!!!!!
