Thread regarding Medical Solutions layoffs

Terrible everything is just terrible

There is absolutely not one perk of working at this company anymore. Everyone is burned out and stretched way too thin. They are slowly ripping away our “flex” (they’ll slap your wrist if you call it unlimited) pto. Only one person per team out at a time including holiday time. We are told a great thing about working here is a paycheck… there used to be too many things to name that was great about this company and now there’s not a single one. Yeah it’s a paycheck but burning people out and getting upset if they need a day off to recoup is not a perk. Do better MedSol. This is not what the old owners of all the other companies wanted for their employees they treated like family. You want to be the best and the biggest in the business stop off shoring everything and stop pushing your teams to the point of exhaustion and tears daily. Everyone from director position up should be ashamed of what they are doing to these people. I hope everyone finds a new job at the same time and can all leave in one big wave. The directors and up have no idea how to do their in line jobs. I’d like to see anyone of them do the job for one day and not make a single mistake they expect perfection but can’t provide it.

My team did really well with splitting up PTO. Didn't have more than 2-3 people out at one time. They even started implementing "mental health days" where they would rotate every few weeks with people having a day off that was scheduled and planned. I didn't really see the "unlimited" PTO being an issue. Sure, people would take some time off monthly but I also saw that boost morale and productivity. What they are doing now, is burning people out.

Sure, but let's be real. People abuse the unlimited PTO. Can't tell you how many times I've seen people take days off every other week, causing us to have to cover for their desk, on top of our work.
