Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

Sure, Walt. Sure.

When everyone is smart and everyone is hard working (like the people I work with), it's sometimes a challenge to distinguish yourself at work.
More than anything, it’s a positive attitude that helps you stand out.

We are all quite positive that your departure should include Rick and that it would be positive for the company to openly admit that the failures weren’t at the staff levels.

We’ve certainly distinguished ourselves. But we’re positive it isn’t in the way you think. So’s the Street.

“Razor Smart”. Sorry Walt, razors can’t be smart. They can be sharp or dull. You seem to be more of the dull variety. I think you are mixing your metaphors. Maybe have someone proofread your posts beforehand.

Nothing he said is a plan any of us can implement to get paid more? How do I get paid more as Schwab?! It’s such a subjective thing few of us have any control or influence over. You get paid more and advance if you have a good manager. Good managers who advocate for you are rare at Schwab. Walt is so disconnected from the terrible, small thinking, micro managing mid-level managers.
