I keep seeing on LinkedIn posts of people leaving Udemy, and before I apply for a job there, I was wondering if they just had a layoff. Maybe it's a secret one that they make people sign an NDA to get their benefits

Word on the street is that they are not even able to make it to the end of Sept. Teams are actively being told they need to go find employment elsewhere.
Announced that there will be layoffs end of September (60 day notice in compliance with WARN). 3 groups. 1 staying. 1 gone immediately. 1 that will be a transition plan thru Q4 and possibly Q1. Hiring is frozen so any role you see will likely be pulled.
Yes. And a larger public one will happen before Q4.
