Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

“Headwinds” always Headwinds to blame

what a crock of lies !
we have been hearing the headwinds excuse for over 2 years now ! the toxic cult that is intel now can’t even invent a new word , or a new excuse , see Dave the master BS-er below. Fkkkk off Intel , we are dead. I am leaving this sinking ship!

“Second-quarter results were impacted by gross margin headwinds from the accelerated ramp of our AI PC product, higher than typical charges related to non-core businesses and the impact from unused capacity. By implementing our spending reductions, we are taking proactive steps to improve our profits and strengthen our balance sheet. We expect these actions to meaningfully improve liquidity and reduce our debt balance while enabling us to make the right investments to drive long-term value for shareholders.”

Last quarter all you could hear out of Pat was Gaudi. Today, there’s like a 2 word off hand mention.

I guess Gaudi is a huge bust as we all knew.

Pat is full of BS.

The questions they asked lead me to believe that they are clued-in to what's really going on and the answers they received were complete bullsh-t.

What headwind? AMD guided up for Q3 and rest of the year, and its Data Center revenue grew by 115% year-over-year in Q2.

Yeah the headwind is nobody wants to buy uncompetitive INTC server CPUs, and there is no believable AI story.

All the while the bankers and stock brokers are asking questions with the web page up and the headline: "Intel In Big Trouble, Class Action Lawsuit For 14th & 13th Gen CPU Instability Issues Begin"

No credibility left.
In Q1, Pat was confident in a strong Q3/Q4.

Wall Street is not buying this Clown show.
