Struck by the contrast between A's +16% y/y growth with elevated margins to boot, and the atrocious results posted by legacy networking vendors. I see them delivering declining revenues (-17% y/y), declining margins, negative free cash flow and it just shows how much A has broken away from the pack, with broad-based success across all segments.
Good Leadership makes all the difference!!! Juniper has awful leadershit.
A doesn't really do glitzy marketing, which is another contrast and spends $s on R&D and engineering innovation instead.
Seeing so much marketing around Al from those legacy vendors, it gets dizzying. What I don't see are real results. I'd be willing to bet that the more a vendor spends on Al marketing, the fewer real customer back-end wins they have. Those who can't win, advertise.
They doth protest too much, me thinks. Results definitely speak louder than some glitzy marketing and vaporware products.
