Don't let these layoffs fool you, it will only make things worse. Nothing but powerpointers and long term non-technical managers/toastmasters will remain.
When did Intel catch HIV? 2006? Earlier, 2000 when the stock ran up to its all-time? The sickness just keeps mutating.
This news moved the stock by a whopping 70 cents.
Intel is going to need better news than that.
