Just got off a U.K. all hands call with senior management. We were informed that as part of the VZ/HCL FMO, there is a risk of redundancies. I can’t say I’m shocked, as soon as the whole Verizon and HCL “partnership” was announced, I knew this would be the outcome. They dripped honey into rebadged employees ears to buy time; they had always planned to get rid of rebadged employees to maximise profits. Disgusting behaviour.

Does anyone here have the contract for the "Kaveri" project (contract between VZ and HCL)? It was apparently accidentally leaked via internal Slack.
So consultation is a formality
This is the second time I've heard that verizon is paying the severance. If true, that's good news. But from where are people getting that intel?
Same here in the USA. All Hands Call with Senior Leadership. We are expecting the 60 day notice at the end of August with off payroll by October 31 (the one year mark). We will get the VZ severance, but it’s really lame that we don’t get the VSP offer (60 weeks as opposed to 35 weeks) since Verizon is the one actually paying the severance.
Same was for CZ office. The FMO is in full force and will be done in 7 phases. They didn't say it out loud but everyone expecting first letters during August so they will be fired exactly after a year.
