I wanted to check with you folks if the layoffs are over for this year? I am way too stressed and not many alternatives in my location.

Private equity people are the worst that humanity has ever produced. You can't even imagine how much low they can go. I am not sure if the citizens of this country even care what is happening. Looks like everyone has given up. Senators and Congress people buying stocks and helping these private equity people to ra-e the population. I don't see any upside any time soon. Its a race to the bottom as the rich countries become equal to third world countries.
Layoffs will only get worse, check Stock price 145?! 65 P/E who pays so high for semi company?! Real price is in 70-80ties and guess how we can keep it high? More layoffs and product price increases. RSU promised are a lot because most won't get it, or you think we can pay Meta salaries with VMware revenue?
Layoffs are just getting started. AI bubble just bursting.

Highest paid CEO in the universe. Hock. He knows how to cut 90% of workforce and still make money.
What if he don't want to get out? OP said there are not many opportunities in his/her location?!
