D day is almost always the 1st day of the half. Managers are supposed to send out the updates the day before, but I've seen many send them out earlier.
My manager told me a month ago I would be part of this round of Layoffs (Yay!!!). Today she told me my 1x1 would be on Wednesday but is waiting on HR to find out the specific time. I hope it's in the morning.

@jfh+1tLTj9sh Also meetings from your manager's manager. A slew of us got laid off on a Monday, our manager as well, in back to back 1x1s.
Already got my manager’s convenient 1x1 reschedule for Monday 8/5. She should have known better than to jump the g-n. Employees aren’t stupid. Be on the lookout for any random meetings scheduled by your manager for Monday morning.
