The only update needed to make the 1974 Ford Pinto an all-time seller at Ford will require moving the gas tank originally bolted to the Pinto's frame in front of the rear bumper to inside the rear lift hatch back door right behind the back seat. This will also help balancing the weight of the Pinto to have better traction on snow and ice for those challenging Winter driving days.

The focus and fiesta plans are more modern and could be put into production relatively quickly. The problem is that the margins are too low on small cars and C-suite doesnt want to build 20 cars to make 40k profit when they can build 5 to make the same 40k profit. We didnt stop building smaller cars because of low volume. We stopped building them because of low margin.
Just remember to put the metal plate in the right place!
The Pinto will be updated to EV and will save the company….
