Sellers who closed no business while cashing OTE checks seem to be the most impacted.
As in North Korea, all information is controlled.
It wasn't mass layoff
We very very quiet, it’s rabbit season.
Agree, we hear about the massive layoffs at Cisco, Intel, Google etc. but nothing on BC. HT must be padding democrat aka media pockets
Broadcom has done mass layoffs over the last 2 weeks and it has been crickets in the media/news. I have several friends that were let go last week with no notice it was coming... this has affected Sales, Sales Engineers, Designated Support Engineers, Field Engineers, and Resident Engineers - from all backgrounds were let go, or given notice of layoff.
Thanks for information. However, I am a little confused. "In the government space, many former Broadcom/VMware Federal will simply change their shirt, have a 2 week break in service, and end up in the same seat they were in."
Is this a layoff or a game of musical chairs? What is the objective? Are some folks going to be laid off?

What do you mean? "VMware federal was hit hard. Many VMware people are being replaced by BC. Soon there will be no VMware." Maybe Sales Reps can be replaced. Broadcom engineers, sales engineers, support engineers, etc. They don't know anything about VMware.

Not related to Symantec layoff,, Straight up VMware/Broadcom hit!
There was a layoff in the Symantec BU. See post
I was laid off and I won't be able to get my RSUs, horrible!
