"Landmark" done by 2025?

Now that this latest round of RIF is complete, all signs point to the complete dismantling of Landmark by the end of the year. Does anyone have any info on this, and or what from Landmark would remain?

I was told by a Manager that BCBS IS renewing their contract. I don’t believe it/them. I guess we will have to wait and see.

A lot of landmark employees were higher paid. If they have more patients stay they will hire a cheaper provider and work that provider 2 times harder.
Landmark had a great model but after it was sold by the founders it lost its protection from the “big bad companies” and something like this was bound to happen.

If your not absorbed into whatever duplicate department that will be taking over you will be let go. It happens in all acquisitions except maybe some arrangements where not the whole company was sold or there were exceptions in the sale for branding. Ex wellmed, rocky mountain

They told us we’d not have as many patients and RIF’d our people, now we are finding out not as many patients will be leaving as they said so we will be understaffed. It appears to me we will be wrapping things up but no one can actually tell us. If I shook my magic 8 ball it would def tell me ALL SIGNS POINT TO BULLSH-T.

In typical Optum fashion nothing will remain. They buy up any competitive threats and harvest the intellectual property. The people are shown the door.
