usually sign is they reduce the work, remove folks from meetings etc. no signs at all and business as usual for all remote people. why is there speculation and doubt?

@2ama+1tHkpHNU, are you cvs or aetna and any hint on the departments impacted. please share this will immensely help others
I was informed by my supervisor on Friday that my name is on the August Layoff List. I was told not to be surprised when the next meeting calls in with an HR Personnel.
Uh... OP why do you keep checking this "Layoff" site if you feel safe and nothing is brewing?
What a knucklehead.
"everything is perfect at CVS, I think I'll check the layoff-site" << what universe?
"Let's not say stuff that's both untrue and illegal, they cannot terminate a massive amount of people at once especially without cause. Only folks it would be is if they are remote and had to come in and refused. "
They can double up staff outside the country and turn around and say you are redundant, they fire you with cause so no Unemployment or Severance. How would you know. They don't have to tell you anything.
Well, there are plenty of signs where I am, and NO, I'm not going into specifics so that Big Brother can figure out who I am and retaliate.
Let's not say stuff that's both untrue and illegal, they cannot terminate a massive amount of people at once especially without cause. Only folks it would be is if they are remote and had to come in and refused. The Q2 earnings are not good and the stock is down worse than the last time they did the layoffs btw. So that's the speculation.
Also OP you are the one that keeps posting the same thing every few days and you need to work on your communication skills because most of your sentences are incoherent. Respectfully since you may know multiple languages. Prayers wont stop a layoff. Pretending nothing is happening wont stop a layoff.
I was told there will be terminations, not layoffs. So stop waiting for a severance, that ship has sailed.
...paranoia and low morale - shake and combine to get one heck of an employee.
