I'm wondering if anyone has information on whether the most recent round of layoffs affected the ISNP or IESNP teams? I'm a health care journalist.

I hope they fire my DCO she is so bad.
Everyone is desperate to leave IESNP praying for opening in ISNP.
I’ve been here 20+ years never seen a more incompetent “leader”. Also so untrustworthy.
Most layoffs this round impacted Landmark, with unfortunately expectations to continue on this trajectory thru 2024. Wanda Bryant and others leaders couldn’t give clear answers.
Housecalls ok. Hope Miller has a counterpart now so maybe more focus overall will be provided.
IESNP and ISNP not affected this time they took the April hit.
ISNP is relatively ok, though staffing ratios are adapting so expect layoffs, esp for nurses. Rumor has it one of the three VPs will be eliminated and just have 2, likely Steve Thieros. They have layed off several DCOs this year snd several have now left after 15 to 25 years with Optum.
IESNP basically shut down everything future wise for growth. Kim Pratt and Sue Miller have decimated the opportunity the original model showed. Ironically the original states wil continue on, except CO with growth, which is ironic that CO won’t as the DCO is from CO and failed to see even those issues. Leadership talks about eliminating both of them and rolling it back under local ISNP sites again. It succeeded better metric wise that way.
Home infusion shrunk and last winter they had a large exodus to outside companies.
Kristy Duffy “quit” this month with no notice.
California passed a $25 / hour lane for healthcare workers so optum is closing shop in clinics.
Agreed the data integrity and access control at Optum is so so bad.
You’re a journalist? Your investigation should be to uncover how Optum has spent the 10yrs offshoring IT positions, not simply ops, but highly compensated roles with data access privileges. India staff that collaborate, share access while they work compromises the privacy of UHG member health data.
I don’t have evidence for you, but I saw it happening for many years and no reason to believe it has stopped. You just have to start asking questions about what data IT staff in other countries can access, and find out how they go about it!
No layoffs this round but the business is doing awful, moral is at an all time low, and I’m hearing grumblings that another round is coming after the release of Q3 earnings
Not from my knowledge. Just business as usual.
