Thread regarding SAP layoffs

Transferring OWN shares to private broker

After mercifully accepting the VERP, I Finally transferred my OWN shares from EquatePlus/CompurerShare (SAP never told me that they are one and the same) to my private broker.
If you need to do this just call the US 1-888- number for ComputerShare (1-888-620-5888)
Otherwise if you try to DIY it is a total cluster (errors thrown for missing fields that aren’t really mandatory, etc.)

This is f—l

“Our back office has found the issue with the transfer. If we submit a Computershare statement with a 7 digit User ID for the account number from Computershare Trust Co with an address of 150 Royall St., and it has the equateplus.com address on it, it will get rejected due to the merger between Equatex US & Computershare. Equatex will not act on a Fidelity transfer form. They request that the customer initiate the transfer by logging into their website and requesting a DTC transfer into their Fidelity account.”

Why would anyone who bought low sell/cash out, incur capital gains taxation, then buy high and pay you a commission?
The shares will go higher - not because of SAP performance but because the competition is abjectly pathetic.
Go back and study your YouTube videos dude.

Why would you accept shares over getting paid in cash and then buying SAP stocks on a brokerage account like Vanguard/InteractiveBrokers/CMC Invest?*
