Looks like work is drying up so management is planning layoffs in North America. The low, low wages for stability implication is out the window. Now we suffer layoffs and suffer low low wages.

can you give more background? isn't C&SI a big part of TCS, how could they have cut 50%
C&SI (now GCP) was cut by more than 50% of headcount last year. There’s been no communication about the future. Pretty astounding. Company is still laying off here and there.
What do you mean by remnants of the consulting business? isn't TCS mainly consultants?
What happens to the remnants of the consulting business (GCP)? Leadership has not provided any guidance! probably a sign that it could fold in the future....
why september? theyve already been laying people off silently since back half of 2023
