Ever? I feel like I'm always thinking about layoffs. Even a day after a round is done, I'm immediately worrying about the next one. It's exhausting.

Why would anyone feel safe in corporate America. It's in every company across all industries. Some more than others. Insurers are so dependent on gov their vulnerable.
No. I never feel safe. But I accept it as the reality of the organization and just keep my head down and doing my job.
It's a sick/toxic organization run by co--y, self centered individuals whose power has gone to their heads. However, the government is complicit in this. Wonder how many elected officials have STOCK in this corrupt money making acquisition company... think about that. Think about your many friends, family members, coworkers who needed care and were denied coverage of much needed care. This is all about making money not people.
Yes, everyone should be worried except those who smile, do what they are told, and stroke their bosses. Layoffs are the method they use to continue to instill fear, but more importantly to cut COSTS and increase shareholder value. As long as the action results in a higher stock price for investors, they will continue to take advantage of patients, and employees alike. The bottom line is to line investors and their own pockets.
GET OUT - run as fast as you can. You'll be glad you did.
Yes also always worried about it. Started cleaning out my files last week just in case.
Find another place to work. It's very liberating!
They appreciate everything you do
Fear is part of the plan keeps people in line. They cant run since self imposed in debt to eyeballs living beyond means keeping up with the kardashians
Yes, always worried.
