Netherlands, New Contracts and benefits

For those who are not impacted, what will the process look like? Are we going to keep all of our benefits such as car allowance, WFH, etc.? Can they change the terms of our existing contracts unless they provide something better?

Keep your benefits…?

You can keep your job with no car allowance, an annual performance plan, 20% pay cut and mandatory office attendance.

The workers council may try to stop this but BCM will throw in some RSUs and everything will be fine by them.

100%.. you are definitely not getting same contract you had with VMware. Benefits like car allowance and other VMware benefits will go. You may most likely be moved from a SIP commission based to Annual Performance Based Compensation plan, which your contract by the way will stay isn't a given and not guaranteed. So in short NO, you are definitely not gonna be getting same contract.

There is no legal requirement that things be 'better'. They cannot change the existing contract, but will offer you a new contract with different terms, which may be better.
