All kinds of rumors are floating around. Anything between 10-15% in one go, to 5% reduction over six months or more. Do we have any idea which is true? I’m afraid for my job, because I simply can’t afford to lose it now, and I just can’t dedicate any time or energy to looking around. I’m talking here about temporary personal circumstances, and it can truly mess up my life if I’m booted in August. So, which is it? I just need to mentally prepare.

95 out of 100 folks won’t be effected. Su-ks for the 5 out of 100, but 95 will still be at Dell
It’s out of our hands really there’s no point in stressing out over it. Maybe talking to your manager could help. He/she will most likely BS you but at least it may help calm your nerves. Most people I know that got laid off last year are all better off now and making more money. Dell severely underpays. Best of luck, you’ll be fine either way.
