Optum is not worth giving up your health for. Not your mental and certainly not your physical health. People are breaking their backs for this place and for what? A threat of more layoffs? You need to realize what your priorities are - and they should always be your health and your family - and act accordingly.

I'm 60, left without notice in January, and am making more money than I ever have on a 4 day schedule. It can be done. Stop crying, stiffen up that backbone and get going.
If I could get a new job, I would.
Not many are hiring 55+ year olds.
I left almost a month ago and I have never felt better in my life! That place had me not eating, not sleeping, all that good stuff. I stayed as long as I did because of the money. But guess what- I found a job where you get treated with respect and, the managers actually know how to do MY job and help as necessary. I did have to take a pay cut though…I’m making $55 a year less now. TOTALLY worth it!!!
Truth! Notice of resignation in this week. Time to move on! Wishing everyone the best of luck, whether they choose to stay, voluntarily leave, or are affected by these ridiculous layoffs. The grass isn't always greener but I've lived enough to know it often is compared to this place.
True. Ain't worth it.
