Thread regarding Medical Solutions layoffs

Has anyone found alternative remote work?

Has anyone found another legit, fully remote position? So many of these remote jobs online look like scams. Any recommendations are appreciated!

I moved across country from Omaha and used LinkedIn job postings to find my new remote job. I'm now on the West Coast and my job is located on the East Coast. :D I searched and applied and interviewed like it was a full time job to get my new gig that I absolutely enjoy and love. It's a very very tough job market right now, so put your head down and dig in. You'll find something if you continue to work hard at it, I promise you that.

Oh no you’ll have to move back to a city. What did everyone think.. you could work remote forever? They’re gonna outsource most of these remote jobs.

"After three months, I was able to secure fully remote work with a minimal pay cut. However, the job market is highly competitive, and securing a referral is often crucial to gaining entry. Ensure your resume is updated and use ChatGPT to help craft your resume summary and list your skills. Obtain referral letters from your supervisors if possible. Reach out to friends who were previously laid off to inquire about potential referrals. Be cautious of seemingly too-good-to-be-true offers by researching them online; there are often Reddit threads or blog posts that can provide insights into potential scams. Google can also quickly identify if a company is involved in MLM schemes. A good rule is to be wary if a company contacts you unsolicited; it's likely a scam. This is undoubtedly a challenging time, but persistence will lead to better outcomes. I'm truly sorry for what you've had to endure.
