So it seems most people shotg-nned their 39 days in less than two months and now are not showing up the entire last month of the quarter. 176 went from being jammed for two months to being quiet in the final month. Seems like getting the 39 days in in two months sort of defeats the intention of the return to work mandate. I know many that sort of just punched in for a few hours and then left so they never really worked much though they got their days in. This whole RTO thing just doesn't seem well thought out or just didn't go as intended.

sometimes I feel like, there's someone watching me
The Q3 revised policy I’ve heard is 240 hours logged on. In office VPN in addition to 39 days. And between 8 and 5
"applaud the creativity to work with this as!nine practice and metric I jammed the 39 days and then quiet vacationed with the fam while fully supporting my teammates"
Imagine admitting you're a lazy piece of sh-t.
I didn't get my 39 days in....and I don't really care. My manager will just say days I missed were excused and we move on. You're manager can you bail you out.

Another half baked strategy by Dell. Wasteful and no positive impact except Folks are tired from the commute on the drive in so productivity and morale is down. No extra hours once they get home. Can't blame this on dei. The good old boys failed again.
People abusing the system are making it worse for others. Figures. I never see my coworkers but here I am trying and wasting hours commuting for them to drive in from 10 minutes away to coffee badge.
I believe they can track you through internet connections. My computer automatically connects me to the company internet when I power up at the office. I am assuming when you power down, they can track that too.
The 39 days is a joke! Everyone should return to office 100% just like all the poor su-kers that had to be in office every day working while Covid was going on and did not get any kind of compensation for it at all.
then you're going to have problems
There is no way for them to track time in office. I go in all the time and have face to face meetings and never log onto a system.
Q3 RTO changes. 39 badge ins are still required. The change is time on campus. For the badge in to count 6 hours on campus.
It’s set up that way as to not conflict with the other flexible policy of working from anywhere in the world you want for 29 business days. If you want to take your 29 days at one time, you can still get 39 days to meet the RTO expectation, it’s intentional.
really is there any need? @exj+1tFXzooi
what amendments, more or less days ?
yes, there are talks of amendments to the policy. Stay tuned.
@gfq+1tFXzooi I think the expectation was at least three days a week, every week and deep down, everyone knows that but figured they scam it and do 39 as soon as possible. You know it, I know it and everyone else knows it..but it's a loophole and could be taken advantage of. Wait until they amend the policy.
Get over it, FFS. You yanks have got bigger things to worry about. Turn on the news. Whinging id--t.
It's not beating them, it's the policy. Example many executives spent 6 weeks in their second homes with family and then came back for the 39, it was designed that way so people can do exactly that. It's why it's called hybrid and flexible.
