as we approach Layoff Thursday, I'd like to respectfully request that anyone who posts updates PLEASE avoid abbreviations.
"ABC team will need more XYZs if we're not careful!" ...isn't helpful...or in English.
if possible, please cite the VP of the branch. saying, "the Customer Office under Rita Khan" is much clearer. and there are hundreds or thousands of people who report to the senior VPs, so your anonymity is secure.
Because if you mention a name on this site the post gets removed

Don’t post names of VPs, it’s against the site rules in the footer. Would hate to see a good post getting deleted just because “don’t name names” rule was broken.
There are rumors of a 7/25 layoff? Any idea what roles they are focused on this time around?
I have a feeling layoffs will be quiet tomorrow, if any at all.
