Precisely. Competence and greatness were replaced with incompetence and greed facilitated by corruption. RIP
Boeing can make all the deals it likes, but it has been proven to be engineering and financially incompetent when it comes to actually delivering a product. With production caps still in place from the Federal Aviation Administration, it will take a while before Boeing can actually generate income from many deals. Furthermore, things are becoming worse.
Boeing is losing an average of $1 billion per month as a series of half-constructed planes await parts. The partially completed models are currently sitting in employee parking lots, waiting for new components to arrive and be added in order to complete them. This will make Boeing’s upcoming labor negotiations extra difficult; Boeing needs all hands on deck, but it might not be able to afford them.
So incompetent, a day late and a dollar short is the best way to describe Boeing these days. I pity the fool who makes deals with Boeing.

Who cares. Boeing can't do anything anymore and certainly won't make a profit. So likely just more BS smoke into mirrors to create impression that Boeing is still relevant to Jack up stock price for their executives bailing out. Boeing is done but funeral is being delayed to allow enriching as many corrupt executives as possible.
The famous two words ki-ling everyone is cost savings. Everyone wants to save a buck but are lives sacrificed really worth it.
