Thread regarding 2U Inc. layoffs

Stocks

I have 1800 stocks purchased via espp when I was drinking the kool-aid. I last checked etrade when I was laid off end of 2023 and left it all in there bc the stock was so low. I checked in yesterday and only have 66 stocks. They practically stole all of my stocks. How are they able to do this? I should've paid closer attention.

De My boss said, expect no statements.

So why are NYU SE directors and managers spreading lies.

For what?

My male or female spouse/partner/slayqhim/friend

Denounced this week when the; Director stated to the entire portfolio and management” forget about debt it’s all been taken care of”

My director cannot tell you the time of day or show up on zoom for presentations
They are scheduled for; but magically has answers to debt.

All of this a farce in my belief and understanding. Actions speak louder than words, if you are announced as a speaker in a meeting and present in Zoom and miraculously disappear. What are you doing

On a Hinge date with a 2U Director. (She said)

Then I googled and found this.

Momma, told me and I never gotta worry
About a bag, this joint owns me. Like I own you after tonight.

I road the metro home.

It’s Paul’s “expertise” that put the company in a position that a reverse split was the only option.

Yeah the same people who question Paul's finance experience cant understand how a reverse stock split works or why it was done.

It’s not id--tic. There’s a massive class action lawsuit based on the fact that the company lied about its value. Sounds a lot like stealing to me.

This is why director deserve to be paid more than grunt employees. “2u stole my stocks” is probably the most id--tic statement I’ve seen on this site. We’re hiring real geniuses here.

Even if you were watching more closely it would not have changed anything. The stock was split 30-1. This new stock price is just an illustration so as not to be delisted. Investors have lost their shirts and so has any employees that “drank the cool aid”. Chip lied to all of us and mismanaged the whole company. The same people that were there to keep things in check, like Paul, didn’t have the backbone to push back.

“Each stock is worth more than it was before” except it’s lost 30% of its value in a month

There was a 1-30 reverse stock split which is why your 1800ish became 66.

Still worth the same as they would have. Now each stock is worth more than it was before.
