We just got a raise like 2 weeks ago.. I specifically got a $2 raise.
They said they evaluated us and they based our raise on other people/ companies with the same position..
Today we had a meeting that was announced a month ago. They said our jobs were being eliminated..
Very disappointed with United health group. WellMed is allll about money,
Tracking how controlled Blood pressures are, making sure patients pick up their medication, oh and no matter how bad the patients health is in - make sure they call the clinic first because if they go to the hospital UHG looses money. And if the pt does go to the hospital..even though they arent feeling well, can barely speak or get up, make sure you see them in 7 days unless it hits the clinics score. Always after clinical admins about why the patients havent had their mammogram or colon screening.. This company is thirsty for money

This is beyond true. They have 95 year old patients forced to come in no matter what. Heaven forbid they offer the patient better care than we can in the office. I also received a raise 2 weeks ago. And for what?! Just to be blindsided and betrayed by a company i invested 9 years into. They couldn’t care less about their employees.
Yes,of course preventative screenings are important and patient care is important. I agree these strategies are all tied into numbers
Your comment might explain why you are unnecessary because you are clueless about good patient care. All of those things need to be monitored to ensure the patient is getting the care they need actually to GET BETTER! I will give you the benefit of the doubt and say you don't know these things and why they are critical to monitor because your manager and or training team didn't explain the importance of why these things need to happen. Once again, thank you. Good job, UHG management!!! Yes, incentive dollars are attached to these things, but they were initially created to ensure good care for the patient. Good luck in your search for a new position.
