Let go but still getting meeting invites?

I was let go 7/18 but just got two HBMC Model Transition meetings to attend today by executives. One 15 min one 30 min?

I was eliminated back in April and a week later got an email that my computer was up for replacement. lol what a joke.

My guess is those inviting you don’t know. I haven’t heard a peep about this layoff or the one in May from anyone at work. I learned about them on social media. They don’t tell most of us anything so if you appear in the directory people don’t know yet

Have some self respect and don't comply or go to any meetings if you got laid off! Turn the laptop off and take that time to get your sh-t together! Sc--w those VP's du----s meetings, it doesn't matter at this point, you are longer employed there.

If you got your notice….. I wouldn’t be showing up for anything. I would only complete the bare bones punch list for your role and clock out and move to a new job 🙏

So dramatic. Most people in healthcare feel that they have an ethical obligation to show up to work on the daily unless your termination was effective immediately.

Same situation here…got the invites. I’m guessing it’s because they actually adhered to the WARN act with last day of employment being 9/16 this time around. So we will be expected to continue to work through the transitions just like everyone else for the next 2 months.
